Flo is an Alpinist, Alpine Ambassador, Mountainpreneur born and raised in Austria. The son of a mountain guide and carpenter grew up climbing and skiing in the heart of the Alps and developed a strong love for the outdoors, nature and the alpine environment from his early childhood days. Born with a sense and love for adventure and always following his dreams he became Austria’s youngest river guide. He kayaked for a living, drove trains in Vienna, fell in love and moved to New Zealand from where his journey led to Sydney, Australia. Working various jobs and trying to find compensation for the lack of mountains he started searching the ocean for the perfect wave.
A few years on he moved to Switzerland where he re-connected with the mountains and climbed some of the highest peaks of the Alps before returning to Sydney developing his Alpine Awareness and Alpine Style Coaching label 4810above at MnM Institute. After a 3 month alpine style mountaineering adventure to the French Alps soloing Mt. Blanc, the highest peak of Western Europe, 3 times from the base to the top he is hungry to return and planning his next big mission.
